Official Requirements

• At least 1-2 years of web development experience and live examples to back it up!
• You have familiarity with PHP, MySQL/SQL, XML, JS/JQuery.
• Extreme proficiency in cross-browser testing and graceful degradation methods
• A portfolio site and online resume available for review
• Strong proficiency in HTML AND CSS; Ability to hand-code without GUI!
• Experienced in the Adobe Suite (Photoshop / Dreamweaver)
• A fundamental understanding of web standards (web 2.0)
• Must be an organized, high-quality multi-tasker
• A good eye and ability to debug and test with precision
• A professional, focused work ethic
• A smart sense of humor and ability to have fun at work
• A healthy obsession with web trends and technology is a must!

You Will Stand Out If...

• You have experience with mobile functionality.
• You have integrated social media or APIs.

What Will You Work On?

• Develop HTML & CSS for new website layouts
• Assist in development of internal web products / applications
• Perform client website maintenance & updates
• Researching & implementing social media APIs and open source functionality
• Conduct maintenance on sticky IT dynamic web applications
• Delivering exceptional customer service via phone & email support as it arises
• Assist in maintaining our company website and portfolio

Do NOT Apply If...

• You've never built or updated a website.
• You cannot code HTML by hand.
• You cannot build a site WITHOUT using Wordpress, Drupal, or Joomla.
• You think CSS is just for fonts.
• You think web development equals tables.
• You are not located or not intending to relocate to the Wilmington NC area! *
  We are building a strong fun company that needs to be experienced in person!
• You work in ASP - we are a PHP & open source based company.
• You want a DESIGN role. This is a production-driven DEVELOPMENT opportunity.
• You want to be a webmaster - we are busy, busy and tasks change daily.
• You aren't proficient on an Apple. Teaching you the OS is not on the to-do list ☺
• You do not have a serious passion for a career in web.
